Tree Houses Hotel is not your typical business. The income from the hotel is used exclusively to improve and maintain the wildlife refuge. When a tree house that could have been rented to others guests goes unoccupied, because of a late cancellation or no show, it hurts us substantially.

Our hotel is a unique experience, one of the reasons why is because we only open our doors to a very limited number of guests. At the same time, remember that we have only the 3 tree houses in 7 acres of rain forest. The reason we only offer this limited number of tree houses is to insure a very low impact on the wildlife and on the rain forest. We want our guest to have a very serene and memorable experience.

We only book reservations through our web site over the internet. We do not allow walk-in reservations. This means when you make a reservation, we can not issue an automatic refund should you cancel or do not show for your stay. For this purpose we keep a waiting list, and if possible we would transfer your reservation to another guest. Then, we will issue you a refund per our cancellation and refund policy.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS POLICY

• No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
• For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to your reservation date, if your tree house is re-rented, we will refund the full amount less 30% for fees that we can not re-coup. If we do not rent your tree house, no refund will be made.
• A 70% refund will be issued if the cancellation is made 30 days or more, prior to reservation date.
• We are sorry but during the months of March, April, Christmas/New Years and Easter period’s; reservations are firm: No refund will be issued for cancellations or no-shows.
• When reserving more than one tree house, the reservations are firm. No refunds will be made for cancellations or no-shows.

Please make sure of your reservation. If you do have to cancel, let us know as soon as you are able. This will allow us time to refer our waiting list, and potentially offer your reservation to another guest. If at all possible we would like to issue you a partial refund.

We do want you to have a great experience with Tree Houses Hotel, even if you are unable to stay with us.
