Arenal Rafting Link

Don’t lose a day to travel! If you don’t rent a car in Costa Rica, then this is a great way to get from San Jose to Tree Houses or from Tree Houses to San Jose or the airport.

You can raft the Balsa (Class 2 / 3) or another river (Class 3 / 4) and be transported from San Jose to Tree Houses or from Tree Houses to San Jose, with all of your luggage.

The Jeep-Boat-Jeep is the best way to travel from La Fortuna to Monteverde. Our minivan will pick you up from La Fortuna, taking you towards Lake Arenal, where you will board a covered boat that will take you across Lake Arenal to Rio Chiquito. From there another private minivan will take you either to Santa Elena or Monteverde downtown.

La Fortuna - Monteverde Horse Expedition
One Way Transportation

As an exciting adventure as you will find in Costa Rica: traveling by horse to your next destination — Monteverde. This tour begins at the dam of Lake Arenal, taking you by covered boat across the lake, to El Castillo town. From there you will ride for about 3 hours on probably the most spectacular trails in all of Costa Rica. Your luggage will meet you in Monteverde where transportation to your hotel will be provided.

There are amazing views of Lake Arenal and surroundings, and a fresh fruit break on the way.
