They call us Ticos (or Ticas). We are resilient, we have no permanent national army, we grow great bananas, we have 500,000 animal species, we speak Spanish (officially), and we love growing amazing coffee! We are Costa Ricans.
Now all you need is an amazing place to stay.
A place fit for adventurers.
Rice and beans are major players in the diets of Costa Ricans. Not only does the locally grown and sourced ingredients play a role in many peoples’ diets in Costa Rica and around the world today, it also makes for super tasty cuisine!
Breakfast is free here every morning so you can get the local flavor without having to leave our hotel grounds. Yes!
Soda is not just something you drink. Yep, here it’s a type of little local restaurant with all the best ‘fixins’ for about $6 a plate. Fruit drinks with your traditional, local meal will bring out all the flavors! It’s informal, it’s a cultural experience, and it’s one of the best ways to meet the locals and find out all the other ‘inside stuff’ to do and places to go. So try a ‘soda' and have your taste buds blown up.
There are actually about 9 'sodas' ranging from a 5 to 15 minute drive from our hotel. Not feeling like leaving your amazing tree house? There’s also a pizza place that delivers.
Food is a must, so why not let it be a part of your experience?
